Over the last few years, much of our workload has involved the refurbishment and re-use of existing buildings.
We’re delighted that two of these projects, schemes in Leather Lane and Felgate Mews, have been shortlisted for the 2016 AJ Retrofit Awards. Organised by the Architects’ Journal, the awards “recognise and celebrate design, engineering and construction excellence that prolongs and improves the life of the built environment.”
Our two projects are competing in the Housing category. Our scheme in Leather Lane, refurbished, remodelled and extended an existing Victorian building to create six homes and two retail units, whilst Felgate Mews converted an existing office building into 6 flats.
We’ll all be keeping fingers crossed on 14th September when the winners are announced.
