We were delighted to attend the first event at our newly completed cultural centre in Barnes, an early screening of Anthropoid, the new Hollywood movie about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich by the Czechoslovak resistance during WW2. The screening was organised by the Embassy of the Czech Republic and was attended by both the Czech and Slovak Ambassadors, along with the Velehrad Trustees and members of the expatriate community. The evening was rounded off by a spirited and informative talk by the historian (and comedian) John Martin.
